README.txt Driver File Contents (OK3111_CE_R01_2_3_3.zip)

General information:

The drivers for CE devices consist of two parts, a plain .dll driver file, which has to be copied to a folder
where it can be stored permanently and a text file that contains the necessary registry settings for loading the driver.

Installation of the driver package:

• Precautions:
Please ensure that the Smart card base components are available on the system, otherwise you will not be able to access
	reader device!

• .dll File:
To install the driver, one has to copy the .dll file to a folder on the Windows CE device and additionally to set
the registry keys for the device. Normally the ‚Windows‘ folder has to be used, if unsure please specifiy your own location
or contact the vendor of teh CE device to get this information.
Some device manufacturers also create their own packages to make it possible to store the drivers permanently.

• Registry settings:
To edit the registry, to apply the necessary settings for the driver, a remote registry editor, like the one included
in Visual Studio, has to be used

To store a driver permanently on a Windows CE system, the driver and the registry settings must be copied to a rom
image. That means, that it could be necessary to build your own Windows CE OS System.

Another way would be (if the registry will be hived to flash) to store the driver dll external on a sd-card or built-in
flash on your device and to load it from this storage.
