HIOKI3560 application Ver 1.20 1. Overview Model 3560 can be controled by using this software through the RS-232C interface. This software has the following 3 functions. All functions can store the measurement data in Microsoft Excel format or the CSV format (CSV: saving text data that uses commas as delimiters). (1) Time Interval Measurement Measurement is executed by setting up the time interval and the number of measurements (2) Loading Measurement Data (by return key) The data can be loaded by pressing the return key of the PC. (3) Loading Measurement Data (by external I/O trigger) When an input signal is changed from "H" to "L", it loads measurement data into the PC. 2. The Initial Setting Please set the measuring conditions of the 3560, such as measurement range and comparator condition, manually before using this software. Set the RS-232C port on the starting screen of this software. The settings will be saved until it is changed again. Click "OK" to return to the main screen. Click [measurement], and [Start/Stop Test Measurement] alternately a few times and make sure that it is communicating properly. 3. Executing functions Choose the function to execute from [Measurement] of the menu. ! note ! Saving in Excel format If the Excel application is not active at the beginning of a measurement, Excel will automatically open. Likewise, if a book is not open, a new book will open automatically. (1) Time Interval Measurement Set up the time interval, number of measurement, and output source of the data. Press the start key. Saving in Excel format Measurement data will appear on a new sheet in the current book. Saving to a file A dialog box will appear. Enter the file name to save. Data will be saved under the designated file name as soon as measurement begins. ! Note ! Accuracy of the timer in the Time Interval Measurement is not precise. Please use only for reference purposes. (2) Loading Measurement Data (by return key) Set the Output Source of the data and click "OK". When storing to a file, click "Set the File Name" and enter a file name. Pressing the return key or clicking "Load" starts the loading of the data. Saving onto an Excel File Data will be written on the Excel sheet starting from the selected cell. Please note that any existing data in the following area will be overwritten. Saving data onto an existing file Measurement data will be added to the end of existing data. The original file will not be deleted. (3) Loading the data (by external I/O trigger) Set the Output Soruce of the data and click "OK". When storing to a file, press "Set the File Name" and enter a file name. When an input signal is changed from "H" to "L", it loads measurement data into the PC. Saving onto an Excel file Data will be written on the Excel sheet starting from the selected cell. Please note that any existing data in the area following this cell will be overwritten. Saving data onto an existing file Measurement data will be added to the end of existing data. The original file will not be deleted. To end this function, click "Close". Then "Please re-input trigger to end this function" is displayed. Input trigger. ! Note ! After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
