Dear End User Purchaser,

Please read the message below before using the card printer you purchased from our distributor or us.

END USER SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

We, Nisca Corporation (hereinafter called "Company") hereby express our sincere thanks for your purchase of our card printer. 

The CD-ROM (or other form of media) supplied to you together in the same package with the card printer stores the software which is necessary to operate the card printer. It is our firm policy that we only permit an end user purchaser of a card printer to use our software if such end user purchaser agrees to conclude an end user software license agreement in our standard form (hereinafter called "AGREEMENT") with us directly. For this reason, the CD-ROM (or other form of media) also stores the terms of this AGREEMENT.

Once you (hereinafter called "End User") have clicked the "AGREE" button on this screen, you show your consent to this AGREEMENT, and it has been irrevocably concluded between End User and Company, and that End User is irrevocably bound by all the terms of the AGREEMENT and has been authorized to use the software stored in the CD-ROM (or other form of media). 

Accordingly, please carefully read the terms of the AGREEMENT before End User clicks the "AGREE" button on this screen. If all such terms are acceptable to End User, please click the "AGREE" button, upon doing so, the AGREEMENT shall be concluded between End User and Company, and End User shall be authorized to use the software stored in the CD-ROM (or other form of media).

However, if such terms are unacceptable to End User, please do NOT click the "AGREE" button, in which case the AGREEMENT shall NOT be concluded between End User and Company, and End User is NOT authorized to use the software stored in the CD-ROM (or other form of media).

The terms of the AGREEMENT between End User and Company are as follows:

1. LICENSE
(1) Company grants to End User a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use, only internally, the software stored in the CD-ROM (or other form of media) supplied together in the same package with the card printer purchased by End User (hereinafter called "Card Printer"), including but not limited to graphic data, sound data, manuals and all other associated documentation, (hereinafter collectively called the "SOFTWARE") on or with the Card Printer in accordance with the terms of this AGREEMENT.

(2) End User agrees not to use the SOFTWARE for any purposes other than operating the Card Printer.

2. OWNERSHIP, COPYRIGHTS & OTHER PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
(1) The ownership, copyright and all other proprietary rights in or to the SOFTWARE are owned by Company's licensor in Japan or a subsidiary or affiliated company of the licensor.

(2) End User agrees that (a) End User has no rights or interest in or to the SOFTWARE, will not hinder the rights thereto of Company's licensor or a subsidiary or affiliated company of the licensor, and will not permit any third party (including its parent company or subsidiaries) to do so; (b) End User has no right to rent, lease, sub-license, loan, sell, transfer, provide access to, dispose of, or deliver copies of, the whole or any part of the SOFTWARE to any third party (including its parent or subsidiaries); and (c) End User will not modify, adapt, merge, translate, convert to another programming language, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on all or any part of the SOFTWARE, and will not permit any third party (including its parent or subsidiaries) to do so. 

3. LIMITED WARRANTY 
(1) Company warrants for a period of ninety (90) days after End User has purchased the Card Printer that no physical damage exists in respect of the CD-ROM (or other form of media) which is supplied with the Card Printer and stores the SOFTWARE, at the time of the supply of such CD-ROM (or other form of media). If End User returns a physically damaged CD-ROM (or other form of media) to the dealer End User purchased the Card Printer within such ninety (90) day period, the dealer will, free of charge to End User, replace said physically damaged CD-ROM (or other form of media) with a CD-ROM (or other form of media, if applicable) which is not physically damaged.

(2) Company does not give End User any warranties regarding the quality, functions, or performance of the SOFTWARE, including but not limited to the warranties that the functions contained in the SOFTWARE will meet End User's requirements, or will operate in the combinations which may be selected for use by End User, or will produce the results desired by End User or that the operation of the SOFTWARE will be uninterrupted or error free or that all program defects will be corrected. 

(3) Company does not warrant that the SOFTWARE does not infringe upon any patent, copyright, mask work right, trade secret or other proprietary right.

4. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITIES 
THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPH 3 ABOVE IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND COMPANY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOSS OF DATA OR INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, AND OTHER LOST PROFIT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER COMPANY IS AWARE OF OR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

5. EXPORT
End User will comply with all export laws and regulations of all the jurisdictions to which End User is subject, and will not export or re-export, directly or indirectly, the SOFTWARE (or any part of the SOFTWARE) without meeting all necessary requirements of such laws and regulations. 

6. UPGRADE 
If the SOFTWARE is upgraded, the upgraded version of the SOFTWARE shall be provided to End Users via the dealer End User Purchased the Card Printer or the Website designated by Company (URL http://www.nisca.co.jp/). The terms and conditions of this AGREEMENT shall apply to all upgraded versions of the SOFTWARE.

7. PERIOD OF AGREEMENT, TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT
(1) The AGREEMENT will come into effect upon End User clicking the "AGREE" button on this screen, and will continue to be effective until the AGREEMENT is terminated in accordance with Paragraphs 7(2) or 7(3) below.

(2) End User may terminate this AGREEMENT with or without cause with 30-days prior written notice to Company at the address written below.

(3) Company may forthwith terminate this AGREEMENT if End User fails to comply with any terms of this AGREEMENT.

(4) Paragraphs 1(2), 2, 3(2), 3(3), 4, 5, 7(4), 7(5) and 8 will survive the termination of this AGREEMENT.

(5) Upon termination of this AGREEMENT for any reason, End User shall immediately cease to use the SOFTWARE, all copies thereof, related documentation and all copies thereof possessed or controlled by End User, destroy the CD-ROM (or other form of media) supplied to End User and such related documentation and copies, and eliminate all copies of the SOFTWARE possessed or controlled by End User and such related documentation and copies thereof from all the computers owned or controlled by End User.

8. GENERAL TERMS
(1) Even if any provision of this AGREEMENT is void or unenforceable by applicable law, the remaining provisions thereof shall remain valid and enforceable.

(2) This AGREEMENT shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Japanese law.

(3) All disputes between the parties which may arise from or in connection with the AGREEMENT will be resolved exclusively by Tokyo District Court, Japan.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
