For a more detailed description of our products please visit our WWW site at: http://www.connecttech.com 3) Comsync DRIVER INSTALLATION: Installation consists of installing the Comsync/PCI into a PCI slot and booting up Windows XP/2000/2003/Vista. The PCI BIOS and Windows will detect the board as an unknown PCI device, and will request that you insert the driver CD\diskette. Windows XP/2000/2003/Vista drivers are installed using information provided in an .inf file. The driver files can be found on the Comsync/PCI distribution CD. Simply use the Windows device driver installation dialogue by telling it the location of the driver files. For Example a:\ or c:\temp\ or where ever you have placed them. Caution: Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista may tend to get confused as to the location of the driver files and may ask you again where they are located. Simply tell the Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista once again where the Comsync/PCI driver files are and the installation will continue. Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista will now "detect" and install all the Comsync/PCI ports into the system. 4) Accessing Comsync/PCI: A sample application project is provided that can be compiled for asynchronous, mono-sync or HDLC mode. Please include the CSPCI_pset.h file for your application. Also, consult this header file for various parameter values. 5) Clocking option: Please study the clocking diagram of Comsync/PCI board. 4) RELEASE HISTORY Revision 1.03 Aug 25, 2009 1.
