Release Notes Oxford Semiconductor UART and Parallel Port Drivers for Windows 98SE and ME =================================================== CONTENTS ======== Section Description -------------------- 1 Introduction 2 Enhancements and Bug Fixes 3 Known Issues 1. INTRODUCTION --------------- This driver package supports operation on Oxford Semiconductor's UARTs and parallel port devices under Windows 98SE and Windows ME. Previously this package was combined with the Windows 2000 & XP drivers. These are now supplied in separate packages. 2. ENHANCEMENTS and BUG FIXES ----------------------------- o Support added for the OXCFU950 both in the driver and user interface. o Fixed problem where autodetecting crystal frequency in the UI could overwrite any prescalar values specified in the inf file. o Fixed problem where on some systems with the OXCF950, the driver would fail to allocate resources. o Driver split into separate package from the Windows 2000 & XP drivers. 3. KNOWN ISSUES --------------- o Cannot standby or hibernate with open ports under Windows ME. o Echo to OXCFU950 COM port immediately after power up does not activate port. o If port is configured with DTR function set to RS485 Buf Active low, driver incorrectly still allows port to be opened with DTR flow control enabled.Download Driver Pack
