Driver for Windows XP(x86)/Vista
---------------------------------------------
This driver enables to hide the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the
taskbar notification area and display special drive icons for each
Removable Disk.

To install CA-200/CAB-200 driver into Windows Vista:
----------------------------------------------------
1. Connect CA-200/CAB-200 to the PC.
2. Launch Device Manager.
3. Double-click the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" entry.
4. Double-click the name of USB Mass Storage Device that appears 
   under the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" entry.
   A window with the name of the USB Mass Storage Device Properties appears.
5. Click the Driver tab.
6. Click the Update Driver button.
7. Click the "Browse my computer for driver software".
8. Click the "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my compter".
9. Click the Have Disk button in order to select the manufacture's installation disk.
10. Click the Browse button at the Install From Disk window.
11. Select the location of the manufacture's installation disk.
12. Select the cab200.inf file and open the file.
13. Click the OK button at the Install From Disk window.
14. Select the model type (CA-200 or CAB-200) and click the Next button.
15. The following message "Windows has successfully updated your driver software" is displayed. 
   Click the Close button.
16. Click the Close button at the CA-200 or CAB-200 Properties.
17. Close the Device Manager window.
18. After the installation, the driver hides the Safely Remove 
   Hardware icon in the taskbar notification area and display
   the special drive icons.

To install CA-200/CAB-200 driver into Windows XP:
----------------------------------------------------
1. Connect CA-200/CAB-200 to the PC.
2. Launch Device Manager.
3. Double-click the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" entry.
4. Double-click the name of USB Mass Storage Device that appears 
   under the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" entry.
   A window with the name of the USB Mass Storage Device Properties appears.
5. Click the Driver tab.
6. Click the Update Driver button.
7. The Hardware Update Wizard launches. 
   When it asks if Windows can connect to Windows Update to search for software, 
   check "No, not this time" and click Next.
8. Check "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click Next.
9. Check "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install" and click Next.
10. Click the Have Disk button in order to select the manufacture's installation disk.
11. Click the Browse button at the Install From Disk window.
12. Select the location of the manufacture's installation disk.
13. Select the cab200.inf file and open the file.
14. Click the OK button at the Install From Disk window.
15. Select the model type (CA-200 or CAB-200) and click the Next button.
16. The following message "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard" is displayed. 
   Click the Finish button.
17. Click the Close button at the CA-200 or CAB-200 Properties.
18. Close the Device Manager window.
19. After the installation, the driver hides the Safely Remove 
   Hardware icon in the taskbar notification area and display
   the special drive icons.

Restrictions:
-------------------------------
To display the special drive icons, connect CA-200/CAB-200 to 
the USB root hub (PC) directly.  If CA-200/CAB-200 is connected
through any other generic USB hub, the drive icons become 
generic Removable Disk.

To install the driver correctly, the CA-200/CAB-200 shall be connected.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
