please follow the prompt and contact customer service.

Whether or not the upgrade process is successful, SSDUpgrade.exe will
create a log file, called "netbook-ssd-micro-code-upgrade.log" in the
same directory as SSDUpgrade.exe. Customer service may ask you to
provide this file, which contains information regarding why the
upgrade process failed.

If successfully completed, upgrading the micro-code of SSD drive using
SSDUpgrade.exe should not erase data on the SSD drive. Never the less,
because of the risk of failure during the upgrade process, you should
back-up all data on the SSD drive before performing the upgrade.

Regarding UMPC.sys

######################################################################

UMPC.sys is a filter driver program that when activated, disables all
other programís access to the SSD drive, and only allows the firmware
update program access to the drive. This driver is loaded and
activated right before the update process starts, and is de-
activated and unloaded right after the update process finishes.

This program is needed because the micro-code upgrade process can not
be interrupted by any other process.
