Skin "HiFi-X" v1.03 for Power PlugIn
====================================

This is the readme to the Skin "HiFi-X" for Power PlugIn.
It contains designs for WinAmp and ModPlug.

This skin's version has been introduced with Power PlugIn v1.03.

There are 2 different versions of the Power PlugIn package.
The full version (the zip-file should have a name "pwrp.zip")
contains designs for WinAmp's normal and double size as well as for ModPlug.
The small version (the zip-file should have a name "pwrps.zip" where
the "s" stands for small) contains only the design for WinAmp's normal
size.
I introduced the small package because at WinAmp's homepage
(http://www.winamp.com) plugins can be uploaded only to a maximum size
of 500 kB and my full version package is much larger.
So on WinAmp's homepage, the small package can be downloaded whereas
on my homepage, you can download both, the small and full package.

Note:
For more info on Power PlugIn, see the "readme_powerp.txt"
file which should have been delivered in the Power PlugIn package.

How to use the full or the small package:
-----------------------------------------

In both, the small and full package, you will find 3 skin files in the
contained path "HiFi-X". "skin.txt" is the actual skin definition file
which will be read by Power PlugIn. "full_skin.txt" is the skin file
for the full package, "small_skin.txt" is the one for the small package.
If you have installed the small package, "skin.txt" will be a copy
of "small_skin.txt" while for the full package it will be a copy of
"full_skin.txt".
If have installed only the small package (if directory "HiFi-X" only contains
a path named "116"), it makes no sense to copy "full_skin.txt" to "skin.txt"
because Power PlugIn will fail to load all the other images of the full
package.
But if you have installed the full package (the directory "HiFi-X" should
contain paths named "116", "126" and "232") you can copy "small_skin.txt"
over "skin.txt" which will cause Power PlugIn to load only the images
defined for the small package. To switch back to full package, just copy
"full_skin.txt" over "skin.txt".

Desription:
===========

The skin HiFi-X contains different designs each displaying a
subset of the available plugin-windows.
The exception is one design which will display all plugin-windows.
This will be the default design.

Following is a desciption of the available plugin-windows:

  3-Way Box:

This box contains 3 speakers and 2 level
     displays.

The top most speaker (the tweeter) reacts
on high sound frequencies (treble), the
     centered speaker reacts on medium
frequencies (band) and the bottom speaker
(the woofer) reacts on low frequencies
     (bass).

The 2 level displays react on high and low
frequencies. If the box is placed on the left
side of the music-player, the left level
display reacts on low frequencies while the
     right one on high frequencies.
For the box being placed on the right side
of the music-player, it will be vice versa.

This box will be placed on the left and right
     side of the music-player.

  Big-Woofer Box:

This box contains only a single speaker
which reacts on very low bass frequencies,
even lower than the woofer of the 3-Way
     Box.

This box will be placed on the left and right
     side of the music-player.

  Level-Display Box:

This box contains only a single level display
and reacts on very low bass frequencies
     just like the BigWoofer Box.

This box will be placed on the left and right
     side of the music-player.

  Sub-Woofer Box:

This box contains a speaker (the
sub-woofer) which reacts on the absolutely
lowest bass frequencies. It's even lower
     than the Big-Woofer Box.
The is only one such speaker so that it will
react on mono sound channels. If a sound
is played in stereo, the sub-woofer will
     react on both channels.

In addition, it contains 2 speactrum
analyzers, each displaying one stereo sound
     channel.

This box will be placed once at the bottom
     of the music-player.

  Light-Organ Box:

This Light-Organ will display 2 flares and a
     fire animation.
The flare in the middle reacts on high
frequencies, the other one on low
     frequencies.
The fire reacts on low and medium
     frequencies.

The idea of the fire is something like a
     power-supply which overheats and starts
     burning.

This box will be placed twice (and mirrored)
     on top of the music-player.
