The OfficeConnect Gateway-Discovery application is a new product.

The OfficeConnect Gateway-Discovery application will only interface with the
following 3Com products :-
3C855 OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Gateway
3CRWE51196 OfficeConnect Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway
3CR856-95 OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Secure Gateway

4. Known problems with this release
When the OfficeConnect Gateway and PC running the Gateway-Discovery application
are on different subnets, the Gateway's DHCP server will be switched off when it
is assigned a temporary IP address by Gateway-Discovery. The user will need to
manually switch the DHCP server on, either in the Gateway's Web Configuration
Screens, or in the Wizard.
The Gateway-Discovey application may not function correctly if the PC on which
it is running has more than one NIC (Network Interface Card).

5. Upgrading this release
The latest version of the OfficeConnect Gateway-Discovery application can be found
on the 3Com Web site. All the necessary files must be downloaded to the PC hard
disk.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
