Quickstart Guide:
-----------------
1) Fitting the Card:
1. Take anti-static precautions.
2. Power off and open up the computer.
3. Please note: The LFG card is keyed so that it can only be fitted into a
slot in which it will work. DO NOT modify the LFG card or the motherboard
in an attempt to override the keying as this could result in serious damage.
4. PCI Express, PCI & PMC versions: Insert the LFG card into an appropriate
spare slot.
5. PC/104-Plus version: See the “LFG Hardware Guide - PC/104-Plus”.
6. Close and power on the computer.
2) Installing the Driver:
Windows 98 (SE) / ME / 2000 / XP / Vista
1. If any previous Active Silicon LFG drivers have been installed, or any
drivers for any other frame grabber using the same Bt878 chip, then it is
recommended that you follow the uninstall procedure below, before installing
the Active Silicon DirectShow driver.
2. The new hardware should be detected automatically as the machine boots up.
3. When prompted click ‘Browse’ and find “ASLLFG.inf” on the CD / Zip file.
4. Repeat this process until all the devices detected have been installed.
3) Un-installing the Media Drivers:
Windows 98 (SE) / ME / NT 4.0 (SP6) / 2000 / XP / Vista
1. Run “Bt8xx_Uninstaller.exe” on the CD / Zip file.
2. Follow the on screen instructions.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
