IT8872F PCI-to-ISA I/O Driver Ver 3.50 Installation Guide for Windows 2000/XP
 

	1. Installation :
		
		(1) Plug the IT8872 PCI Adapter card into PCI slot. 				
   			
		(2) Reboot, let the Windows 2000/XP system to find the new HardWare.

		(3) Plug the IT8872 driver floppy into floppy disk for installation.

		(4) Follow up the direction of Found New Hardware Wizard.

                    Found new Hardware Wizard will looping for ITE887x PCI serial Port1,
                    ITE887x PCI serial Port2, ITE887x PCI Parallel port, 
                
                    Select Install the software automatically, press Next. 
                                       

		(5) Please restart the Windows 2000/XP system. (optional)

                    Actually, it is not necessory to reboot, now the device is ready for use.
		


	2. Version Number :
		(1) Version Number:
   			(a) Select "Setting", "Control Panel" from "Start" button on the task bar.
   			(b) Click "System" from "Control Panel".
			(c) Select "Hardware" tab from System Properties dialog box.
   			(d) Click "Device Manager..." button from System Properties dialog box.
   			(e) Double click "Multi-port serial adapters" 
			(f) Double click the ITE 887x PCI Multi-I/O Controller.
			(g) Select "Driver" 
       			(h) User will see the version number of the 3-mode floppy driver.


	3. Uninstallation :

                  (1). Execute ITEremove.exe from DOS command prompt.

                       ITEremoce.exe was made a copy in the folder of %Windows%\system32 directory, 
                       this program will remove all ITE887x registry settings. but would not delete 
                       driver file ITE.sys.

How To Update Drivers Manually
