  << About the re-installation of the driver at the time of problem >>

    In PC without a local port (LPT1,COM1 etc.),
    setup error occurs during driver installing,
    or port write error occurs at the time of FAX transmission.
    In that case, please re-install the driver,
    according to the installation procedure below.

[ Installation procedure ]

1. Delete the FAX Driver already installed.

2. Start up the driver installer.

      Double-Click the "<CD-ROM:>\FAX\FAXDRV\NFSetup.exe" to start up the driver installer.

3. The wizard screen of "Select a device port" is displayed while installing it.
   Please select the "Create a new port", select "Port Set Up Port" from the type menu, and click
   "Next" button on the wizard screen. 

4. The "Add Port Wizard" will start up and continue the Wizard selecting the "Print using Raw mode".
   Please input "IP Address or Host Name" IP Address of NetworkFAX address.

      *** Caution ***
        You must input NetworkFAX address with IP Address, not Host Name.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
