2) About Backlight Sensor Refresh Utility

The brightness of the EIZO ColorEdge CG303W may not drop below the specified value even when
the brightness is changed. After an extended period of use.
This utility readjusts and returns the monitor to the condition in which the proper brightness
adjustment can be performed.

2-1) Cautions
===========================================================================
- This utility is not for preventing problems, and it does not need to be used when the brightness
adjustment is performed properly.
- This utility needs to be run when the monitor is stable.Before executing this utility, stabilize the
operation status of the monitor for about 30 minutes.
- Exit all software.
- This utility readjusts and returns the monitor to the condition in which the proper brightness
adjustment can be performed.
- Do NOT activate the PC operations such as power save, log off, screen saver, etc. during
use of this utility. It will cause damage to the monitor.Turn off these settings beforehand.

2-2) System Requirements

- ColorEdge CG303W
- Windows PC with the appropriate OS installed (Built-in USB)
- EIZO USB cable
- BacklightSensorRefreshUtility.exe

2-3) How to use
===========================================================================
1. Using the USB cable, connect the PCfs USB port and the monitorfs USB port.
2. After extracting the downloaded file, double-click "BacklightSensorRefreshUtility.exe" in
this utility folder to start the utility software.
3. From the pull down menu, select the monitor (CG303W) to adjust.
4. Click [Execute] to execute the adjustment.While the adjustment is being executed, the monitor
screen becomes bright, and/or the power instantly turns off.
The adjustment will take about 3 minutes.
5. Click [Close] to exit the utility.

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
