README_WINXP_D2XX.txt Driver File Contents (USB232-485.exe)

This folder contains the C header file ftd2xx.h, and import libraries
for ftd2xx.dll, suitable for Visual Studio 2008 Visual C++ projects.
The DLL itself is installed in the system as part of the driver
installation. Note that static libraries to use D2XX without the DLL
are available elsewhere on the CD-ROM within the main drivers folder
"\Drivers\Win XP, Vista, 7, 2000-2008\CDM20802 WHQL Certified\Static".

See FTDI's Technical Note "TN_109" for instructions on including the
library in a VS2008 project. This is available at
<http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Documents/TechnicalNotes.htm>.

The FTDI website also has programming examples and library bindings for
using the D2XX functions in other programming languages. See
<http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/SoftwareExamples/CodeExamples.htm>.
