README_WINCE_VCP.txt Driver File Contents (USB232-485.exe)

These VCP (Virtual COM Port) drivers are for Windows CE 4.2 onwards.

Drivers are provided for ARM/XScale processors and for 32-bit x86
processors.

Drivers for Windows CE 4.2 through to Windows CE 5.2, Windows Mobile 5,
Windows Mobile 6, and Windows PocketPC 2003 are in the "Mobile 5-6,
PocketPC 2003, CE 4.2-5.2" folder. Within that folder are folders for
ARM/XScale processors and for 32-bit x86 processors.

Drivers for Windows CE 6.0 are in the "CE 6.0" folder. Within that
folder are folders for ARM/XScale processors and for 32-bit x86
processors.

Note that the USB serial converter needs to be connected to a USB host
port on the device to which it is connected. Not all PDAs have a USB
host port as standard, but it may be available as an add-on. The regular
USB port used for PC synchronization etc. will not work.
