README_FIRST.txt Driver File Contents (USB232-485.exe)

Quick install for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003, Server 2008
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In short: run "CDM20802_Setup.exe".

For the regular, 32-bit editions, and the x64 (64-bit AMD, or Intel
EM64T) editions of these operating systems, run "CDM20802_Setup.exe".

The above command will pre-install the drivers. This is the easiest
way to install the drivers for the USB serial converter.

These are combined VCP (Virtual COM Port) and D2XX drivers. This means
that the device will appear as a COM port in Windows Device Manager, and
in addition to the regular Windows support for COM port devices, it
supports another programming interface known as D2XX. (Details of the
D2XX programming interface may be found in the D2XX Programmer's Guide
elsewhere on this CD-ROM.)

Note that 64-bit editions of Windows for the Itanium (IA-64) processors
are not supported.
