Installing The NDIS 3.0 Driver
------------------------------

Installation of PCMCIA Ethernet Card's driver for specific environment is
described below.

Microsoft Windows NT
--------------------

Note:
-----
1) The directory structure provided on the PCMCIA Ethernet Card's driver
   diskette has been setup for automatic OEM installation. Also, more
   information can be found in the Microsoft Windows NT User's Guide.

2) Only x86-based Windows NT platforms are supported.


3) For Windows NT 4.0 installation, specify the driver
   source path to the following :

            \WINNT\NT40


For Ethernet Driver Installation
--------------------------------

1       Insert the PCMCIA Ethernet Card's driver diskette into the floppy
        drive.

2       From the "Control Panel" in the "Windows NT My computer" window, double click
        on the "Network" icon to install the PCMCIA Ethernet driver.

3       In the "Network Settings" dialog box, choose "Adapter".

4       Select "Add" to install PCMCIA Ethernet driver.

5       In the "Add Network Adapter" dialog box, select "Have Disk" from the
        and continue.

6       In the next window, enter:

                A:\WINNT\NT40

7       Then, select "10BASE PCMCIA Ethernet Adapter" from the dialog box to
        install the PCMCIA Ethernet Card driver.

8       Accept the IRQ, I/O Base address and Memory address values that windows
        has detect from "10BASE PCMCIA Ethernet Adapter Setup" dialog box.

9       Reboot your system after complete the driver installation process.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
