ESATA port configurations: If you need support ESATA port property, you should install two packages. 1. miniport driver mv64xx package which includes co-install. 2. filter driver MRDD(Marvell removable disk driver) package which implements the ESATA port property. If you do not want ESATA port property, you only need install the first package - miniport driver package. 3.If you install MRDD, you can see hot plug property page in device management. ESATA port testing procedure: 1. Port id of hot plug property page should be matched with the corresponding PHY id of HBA. E.g. if port 0 is set as ESATA port, it'll be related to port 0 of 6480&6485. 2. When a HDD plugged-in ESATA port, the removable property would be displayed. 3. When a HDD plugged-in ESATA port, the event of hot-plug on ESATA port should not be displayed. NOTICE: Change hot-plug property page, need reboot!Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
