Introduction:
=============

  This document shows you how to setup the driver in Windows operating system.

Contents of the Subdirectory:
=============================

    VIACR.SYS            The WDM x86 driver for Windows 2000/XP/Svr2003/Vista.
    VIACR.INF            The installation information file.
    VIACR.CAT            The WDM x86 driver Windows logo signature file.
    CRICON.DLL           The customized memory card drive icons dll file.
    VIACR.TXT            This file.

Installation:
=============

  Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
  is properly installed and configured.

    1. Turn on the power of your PC to boot into Windows operating system.
       Windows will auto-detect your new hardware, and the "New Hardware Found"
       dialogue box will appear. Select "Driver from disk provided by hardware
       manufacturer" to install driver from the driver diskette or other location.

    2. When the driver installation is completed, restart Windows if needed.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
