Ping War READ ME ********************* content 1) Purpose 2) Installation 3) Status 4) Registering 5) Distribution 6) Contacting Digilex 1) Purpose ********** Ping War is a little program to perform a pingsweep on your network, or on the internet. If you provide a range of IP addresses, Ping War will sweep them. Ping a range of IP addresses to find out what numbers are in use, or what numbers answer within the set time. adjustible Time out, bytes to send, start and end node. Once the sweep is complete, you can save the results. 2) Installation *************** To install Ping War you need to unzip the file first. Use your favorite unzip tool to do so. After that find the directory where you unzipped the pingwar.zip file and run the setup.exe program. The setup program then guides you trough the installation process. If, for some odd reason, you don't want Ping War on your machine anymore, just remove it via the control panel in windows. A uninstall is included. 3) Status ********* Ping War is shareware. 4) Registering ************** Ping War is shareware and costs $ 15 US. The unregistered version of Ping War will only ping 10 numbers at a time. The registered version does not have this limitation Digilex has chosen share-it to handle all registrations. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
