For the 3150/3280/3270 SCSI controllers

Windows95/98 Installation Instructions.
Adding your New Win95 Miniport driver.

1. Double Click on Add New Harware. Click Next.
2. Click on No.  Click Next.
3. Click on SCSI Controllers. Click Next.
4. Click on Have disk.
5. Using Browse, select the drive and path where the SCSI.INF
   file is.  It will appear in the filename box.
6. Click on OK.  Click OK again.
7. Select DTC Data Technology Corp.  Click on the 3280/3270/3150 driver.
   Click Next.
8. Click Next again.  If Win95 cannot find the .MPD file, using Browse, select
   the drive and path again.  Click OK.  Click OK again.
9. A box will appear with IO address, IRQ, etc. Click Next.
10. Click on Finish.
11. Win95 is going to ask you to restart the system.  Click NO.
12. Go to Control Panel.  Double Click on System.  Click on Device Manager.
13. Click on SCSI controllers.  Highlight on the DTC Miniport Driver.
14. Click on Properties.  Click on Resources.
15. Check the Hardware IRQ and Memory Ranges with settings in the window.
    Warning:  These settings have to match for the operating system and card
              to operate in 32-bit mode and properly.
16. After checking change any setting to what the hardware is.
17. Click OK.  Win95 may ask you to RESTART Click YES.
18. Click on START, Shutdown, and RESTART computer.

You have now succesfully installed your Win95 Miniport Driver.
Note:  3150V only.  IRQ5 is the only available IRQ.  Please reroute all other 
       devices if you are using the 3150V.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
