1. Automatisch installierbare Software
Bei Installation der Windows-Version des Epson Link2-Programms werden auch die folgenden Komponenten installiert:
Windows Media Format 9 Runtime
Microsoft DirectX9.0c
2. In Epson Link2 verwendete Quick Time Player-Funktionen
Epson Link2 is using some of Apple’s Quick Time Player functions so it is necessary to work the Quick Time Player correctly to be able to use all Epson Link2 functions on a Windows environment.
Bei Epson Link2 werden einige Quick Time-Funktionen* für folgende Vorgänge verwendet:
- Dekodierung der Video-Codecs ISO MPEG-4 und H.264
- Konvertierung des Video-Codecs H.264 in MP4 (ISO MPEG-4 + AAC)
- Konvertierung von ISO MPEG-4 in MP4 (MPEG-4 + AAC), wenn ISO MPEG-4-Dateien nicht auf dem Viewer abgespielt werden können
- Abruf von Datei-Informationen:
Wiedergabelänge und Codec-Informationen für Videodateien (MP4, P4V und MOV)
Wiedergabelänge und Audio-Datei-Informationen für Audio-Dateien (M4A)

* Gilt nur für Dateien, die vom Quick Time Player unterstützt werden.
3. Der Quick Time Player und Windows Vista
Bis zum 28. Februar 2007 hat Apple keine offiziellen Informationen über die Kompatibilität des Quick Time Player mit Windows Vista veröffentlicht.
Seiko Epson prüft derzeit, ob die Quick Time Player-Version, die mit Epson Link2 installiert wird, problemlos unter Windows Vista läuft.
4. Warenzeichen
Microsoft und Windows sind eingetragene Warenzeichen der Microsoft Corporation.
Apple, Apple Logo, Macintosh, Power Macintosh, MacOS und QuickTime sind eingetragene Warenzeichen der Apple Inc.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
