HV355 - Firmware 060904 V1.90 note.


To upgrade the firmware:

1 - Connect HV355 to the computer.

2 - copy the firmware file FWF2D08.ROM to the root directory of the HV355.

3 - Disconnect the the unit from the computer.

4 - Connect HV355 to the TV.

5 - Turn on the unit. The unit will automatically detect the firmware file and update the firmware. Do not turn off the power while firmware is flashing.

6 - After finish updating the firmware, the unit will turn off. You can turn the unit back on and use it.

Add feature:

1. Change OSD language and TV standard without HDD and fied Spanish OSD message.

   To change OSD language & TV standard without HDD, press FF (>>) key and then
   press play key. Press number 1 - 8 to change OSD language. Press left key to
   change to Pal, Right key to change to NTSC.
   1 - English            2 - Francis
   3 - Deutsch            4 - Italiano
   5 - Spnish	          6 - Chinese (Traditional)
   7 - Chinese (Simple)   8 - Japanese

2. Add simple Chinese and Spanish language.


Fixed Issues:

1. Playing files under root directory that have password and press number key causing files corrupted.

2. Playing files under root directory and press title key back to root causing auto play problem.

3. Can't hide private folder that has Upper and lower case letter.

4. Can't play folder under root directory.

5. SMI subtitle have special comman will make unit freeze

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
