(A) Installing the Driver and Utility on Microsoft Windows XP

1. Plug the Siemens SS1021 card into the PCMCIA slot of PC.
2. Turn the power ON, then boot from the Windows OS.
3. When Windows prompts with "Network Controller" in the
"Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.
4. Insert the Siemens SS1021 Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
and click the "Next" button.
5. Windows will prompt that the "Siemens SpeedStream Wireless PC Card" has
not passed Windows logo testing, click the "Continue Anyway" button.
6. When Windows prompts that the "Siemens SpeedStream Wireless PC Card"
software has finished installing, click the "Finish" button.
7. The Siemens SpeedStream Wireless LAN Utility installation will
begin automatically.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
(B) Installing the Driver and Utility on Microsoft Windows 2000
=================================================================
1. Plug the Siemens SS1021 card into the PCMCIA slot of PC.
2. Turn the power ON, then boot from the Windows OS.
3. When Windows prompts with the "Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard"
windows, click the "Next" button.
4. Windows prompts with "Network Controller" in the "Found New Hardware
Wizard" dialog box, select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)",
and then click the "Next" button.
5. Insert the Siemens SS1021 CD Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
6. Select "CD-ROM drives" and then click "Next".
7. Windows will prompt that a driver has been found, Click "Next".
8. Windows will prompt that the "Siemens SpeedStream Wireless PC Card"
does not have a Digital Signature, click "Yes".
9. When Windows prompts that the "Siemens SpeedStream Wireless PC Card"
software has finished installing, click the "Finish" button.
10. The Siemens SpeedStream Wireless LAN Utility installation will
begin automatically.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
(C) Installing the Driver and Utility on Microsoft Windows ME

1. Plug the Siemens SS1021 card into the PCMCIA slot of PC.
2. Turn the power ON, then boot from the Windows OS.
3. Windows will prompt with "Network Controller" in
the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.
4. Ensure that "Automatic search for a better driver(recommended)"
is checked.
5. Insert the Siemens SS1021 CD Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
6. Windows will find the suitable driver from the CD Driver and then
start to copy the files from the CD Driver.
7. When Windows prompts that the "Siemens SpeedStream Wireless PC Card"
software has finished installing, click the "Finish" button.
8. Windows will ask to restart your computer, do so.
9. After the system rebooting, the Siemens SpeedStream Wireless LAN
Utility installation will be launched automatically.
Following the instruction to complete the installation.
(D) Installing the Driver and Utility on Microsoft Windows 98/98SE
=================================================================
1. Plug the Siemens SS1021 card into the PCMCIA slot of PC.
2. Turn the power ON, then boot from the Windows OS.
3. When Windows prompts with "Network Controller" in
the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, click the "Next" button.
4. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)",
and then click the "Next" button.
5. Insert the Siemens SS1021 CD Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
6. Select "CD-ROM drive" and then click "Next".
7. When Windows identifies that it has found the "Siemens SpeedStream
Wireless driver", click the "Next" button.
8. When Windows prompts that the "Siemens SpeedStream Wireless PC Card"
software has finished installing, click the "Finish" button.
9. Windows will ask to restart your computer, do so.
10. After the system rebooting, the Siemens SpeedStream Wireless LAN
Utility installation will be launched automatically.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
