How to use Flash Utility for TOMATO BOARD

Please follow the steps as below:

1. Save bios image file and flash utility into a bootable floppy disk.

2. Start your computer with the floppy disk.

3. Run utility as follow:

   e.g. a) If your BIOS is AWARD BIOS: A:\AWDfl701 xxxxxxxx.BIN
        b) If your BIOS is AMI BIOS: A:\AMIFL814 xxxxxxxx.rom

4. Follows the Screen instructions to backup your original BIOS image
into file from BIOS.

5. Follows the Screen instructions to upgrade your BIOS properly.

6.If any error was appeared and caused failure in BIOS upgrade
processing, please use the backup copy of original BIOS image file to
resume the BIOS. IN THIS TIME, DON'T POWER-OFF PC OR REBOOT PC.
OTHERWISE, BIOS WILL CORRUPT AND CANNOT BE RECOVERY AGAIN. 

7. When all of the procedures completed, restart your computer by screen
prompt.

Warning: Avoid power-off incidentally in upgrading procedure, or system
would fail to reboot!

In addtion, Please note following in BIOS setup:

Before saving BIOS parameter, we must enter "CPU Configuration Setup" to
correct CPU speed after loading "Auto Configuration with Optimal
Settings".

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
