Introduction

This file provides important information on how to use D-Cut Master. Please
read it carefully.
The D-Cut Master program imports DXF files used in AutoCAD R13. It is used to
display, delete and sort data, set the output conditions, and to save data and
settings. It also creates GP-GL plot data for output via a Graphtec plotter
driver.

Installation

Running the Setup.exe file launches the OPS639 Setup program.
When this starts, follow the instructions given on the screen.

Precautions

* See the Help documentation or the D-Cut Master User's Manual for operating
  instructions.
* Only the following DXF objects may be imported: line segments, polygons,
  splines, circles, arcs, and ellipses.
* Block referenced objects cannot be imported.
* Text and dimension lines cannot be imported.
* The Graphtec OPS628 plotter driver or Graphtec OPS662 cutting plotter driver
must be installed for output. See the OPS628/OPS662 README.TXT file for
detailed information on installing the driver.
* See the plotter user's manual for detailed information on making settings for
  and operating the plotter.
* If a polyline object has been converted to line segments and arcs at the
Cutting Simulation display, it cannot be returned to its original state.

When Using the FC3600

* The FC3600 settings that have been pre-registered in the Media List are all
conditions for use with the pen carriage. They cannot be used with the tool
  carriage.
* This software cannot be used to adjust the height of the tool carriage.
Please make the height adjustment at the plotter control panel.
* When using this software to specify the cutting force for the FC3600, please
note that the values that can be set differ according to whether the setting
is for a pen or a tool. Refer to your plotter user's manual for the
appropriate values before making the setting.
* If you wish to specify the cutting force separately for the X and Y axes,
please make the settings at the plotter control panel. At this time, make
sure that no cutting force or quality settings have been specified with the
  software.

LC5200 Media Settings

The LC5200 settings displayed in the media list each represent a set of
pre-specified, substrate-specific cutting conditions. All the settings are
for the 25W model. The abbreviations used in the setting names are explained
in the following list.

LC5200 25W PC 1000 : Polycarbonate (PC), 1 mm thickness
LC5200 25W PC 500 : Polycarbonate (PC), 0.5 mm thickness
LC5200 25W PET film 200 : Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), 0.2 mm thickness
LC5200 25W PET film 300 : Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), 0.3 mm thickness
LC5200 25W PET film 500 : Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), 0.5 mm thickness

Note
The above settings are provided as a guideline only, and we do not guarantee
that they are the optimum settings in each case. Substrates vary from
manufacturer to manufacturer, and the substrate you plan to use may require
slightly different settings.
Use the LC5200's test cut function to determine the best settings for your
substrate, and then make changes or additions to the settings in the list as
required.
