4.2 INSTALLATION SWITCHES
Due to the different distribution formats available for
Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology Drivers, the command
line flag syntax may vary:

1. Self-Extracting .EXE Distribution:
When installing this software using the .EXE
distribution, an extra '-A' must be appended to the
      EL_ALL.EXE or EL_ENU.EXE program call (i.e. EL_ALL.EXE -A)
in order to successfully pass command line flags.

   NOTE:
The extra '-A' flag for the self-extracting .EXE
package is different from the '-A' command line flag
option described under Compressed .ZIP Distribution.

   Example:
To extract driver files using the '-A' flag
            described below, the installation program
            should be invoked as follows:

            EL_ALL.EXE -A -A (optional -P)

2. Compressed .ZIP Distribution:
When installing this software using the .ZIP distribution,
use the command line flags exactly as described below.

   Example:
To extract driver files using the '-A' flag
            described below, the installation program
            should be invoked as follows:

            SETUP.EXE -A (optional -P)

Silent Installations

   -s : Silent mode
The command Setup.exe -s suppresses the Setup.exe initialization window
   for the installation program.

Miscellaneous switches

   -Overwrite : Force downgrade
If this switch is used, the version of the driver will install even if it
is older than one on the system currently without prompting the user.

   -G : Setup language
Users can use the -G switch with the language ID to specify the
language used by a multi-language installation program. For example, the
command to specify German is Setup.exe -G0407.

-P : To specify the install location
By using the -P switch the installation location for the Intel(R) Quick
Resume Technology Drivers files can be specified. For example, setup.exe
-Pc:\install\here" will install the Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology Drivers at
   "c:\install\here".

   -B : To force a reboot
If a forced reboot is desired, using setup.exe -B
will force a reboot at the completion of the silent installation.

-SystemStandby=N : N represents the number of minutes to set the System
Standby inactivity timer for the currently selected power scheme.

-NOUNINSTALL : This will disable the ability to uninstall Intel(R) Quick
Resume Technology Drivers from "Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel.
When specified, the product will still be listed in "Add or Remove Programs"
but the "Remove" button will not be available.

-DisableLock : This will install Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology Driver and
leave the option to password protect on return at its pre-installation state.

-F2 : Log file path By using the -F2 switch the installation location for the
Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology Driver log files can be specified. For example,
setup.exe -F2c:\install\here" will install the Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology
   Driver log file at "c:\install\here".

   -A : Extract Switch
By using the -A switch the Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology Drivers files can be extracted
to a specified location without installation. For instance,
setup.exe -Ac:\install\here" will place the Intel(R) Quick Resume Technology Drivers
   files at "c:\install\here".

-AKM : Disallow keyboard or mouse When this switch is used the ability of the
keyboard and the mouse to wake the system from Quick Resume mode will be disabled.
