Software Usage Agreement (Please read!)
===============================================================================
This license agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you
and Canon Inc. ("Canon") governing your use of Canon's software program(s)
and online or electric documentation which you are installing (if any)
(collectively, the "SOFTWARE"). BY INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE
TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE DEEMED TO
HAVE AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT
AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, CLOSE THIS INSTALLATION PROGRAM AND
PROMPTLY RETURN THE SOFTWARE TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU OBTAINED IT FOR
A REFUND BEFORE THE SOFTWARE IS USED.
In consideration of the right to use the SOFTWARE, you agree to abide by
the terms of this Agreement.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE:
(1) Canon grants you the non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use
("use" shall mean installing, executing or displaying) the SOFTWARE on
the computers for use with the Canon network camera products, provided
that the total number of computers shall not exceed the number of licenses
you have obtained. You may physically transfer the SOFTWARE from one
computer to another provided that the total number of computers shall not
exceed the number of licenses you have obtained at any time. If you want
to use the SOFTWARE on more than the number of computers permitted in this
Agreement, you must obtain a separate and additional license from Canon.
(2) You shall not use, copy or duplicate the SOFTWARE except as expressly
granted or permitted herein, and shall not assign, sublicense, sell, rent,
lease, loan, convey or otherwise transfer to any third party, any part of
the SOFTWARE.
(3) You shall not alter, modify, disassemble, decompile or otherwise
reverse engineer the SOFTWARE, or translate or convert it to another
programming language, and you shall not have any third party do so.
(4) You may copy the SOFTWARE onto the permanent storage device (e.g.
a hard disk) of your computer and retain the original for a back-up
purpose. Any other copying of the SOFTWARE is a violation of this
Agreement.
2. COPYRIGHT NOTICE: You shall not remove, obliterate or modify any
copyright notice appearing on the SOFTWARE or on a medium on which the
SOFTWARE is supplied.
3. OWNERSHIP: CANON and its suppliers retain in all respects the title,
ownership and intellectual property rights in and to the SOFTWARE.
Except as expressly provided herein, no license or right, express or
implied, is hereby conveyed or granted by CANON to you for any intellectual
property of CANON and its suppliers.
4. EXPORT RESTRICTIONS: You agree to comply with all export laws and
regulations of the country involved, and not to export or re-export,
directly or indirectly, the SOFTWARE in violation of any such laws and
regulations, or without all necessary approvals.
5. SUPPORT AND UPDATE: Canon, Canon's subsidiaries and affiliates, their
distributors and dealers are not responsible for maintaining the SOFTWARE
or helping you to use the SOFTWARE. No updates, fixes or support will
be made available for the SOFTWARE under this Agreement.
6. LIMITED WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER OF INDEMNITY: Canon, Canon's subsidiaries
and affiliates, their distributors and dealers will not guarantee
uninterrupted service, absence or correction of errors. The SOFTWARE is
licensed on an "AS IS" basis without warranty of any kind. The medium on
which the SOFTWARE is supplied is warranted against defective material or
workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days from the
date you purchased the same as evidenced by a receipt or otherwise.
The limited warranty does not apply if the failure of the medium resulted
from accident, abuse or misapplication of the SOFTWARE and shall not
extend to anyone other than the original licensee of the SOFTWARE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CANON, CANON'S
SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, THEIR DISTRIBUTORS AND DEALERS DISCLAIM ALL
IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE.
CANON, CANON'S SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, THEIR DISTRIBUTORS AND DEALERS
ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL
LOSS OR DAMAGE SUCH AS LOSS OF PROFITS, EXPENSE OR INCONVENIENCE,
WHATSOEVER CAUSED BY OR ARISING OUT OF THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE THEREOF.
CANON, CANON'S SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, THEIR DISTRIBUTORS AND DEALERS
SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO INDEMNIFY YOU AGAINST ANY CLAIM OR SUIT
BROUGHT BY A THIRD PARTY ALLEGING THAT THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE THEREOF
INFRINGES ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF SUCH THIRD PARTY.
THE ABOVE IS CANON'S ENTIRE LIABILITY AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IN
CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU HEREBY RELEASE CANON,
CANON'S SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, THEIR DISTRIBUTORS AND DEALERS FROM
ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ALL CLAIMS CONCERNING
THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE. If you do not wish to accept the SOFTWARE under
the terms of this Agreement, do not install the SOFTWARE.
7. TERM: This Agreement is effective upon your acceptance hereof by
installing the SOFTWARE and remains in effect until terminated. You may
terminate this Agreement by destroying the SOFTWARE and all copies thereof.
This Agreement will also terminate if you fail to comply with any of the
terms of this Agreement. In the event that this Agreement terminates for
your failure to comply with this Agreement, in addition to Canon enforcing
its respective legal rights, you must then promptly destroy the SOFTWARE
and all copies thereof.? Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sections 3, 4,
and 6 through 10 shall survive any termination hereof.
8. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS NOTICE: The SOFTWARE is a "commercial
item," as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. 2.101 (Oct 1995), consisting
of "commercial computer software" and "commercial computer software
documentation," as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212 (Sept 1995).
Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through
227.7202-4 (June 1995), all U.S. Government End Users shall acquire the
SOFTWARE with only those rights set forth herein. Manufacturer is
CANON Inc./30-2, Shimomaruko 3-chome, Ohta-ku, Tokyo 146-8501, Japan.
9. SEVERABILITY: In the event that any provision of this Agreement is
declared or found to be illegal by any court or tribunal of competent
jurisdiction, such provision shall be null and void with respect to the
jurisdiction of that court or tribunal and all the remaining provisions
of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
10. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: BY INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT
YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTOOD IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY
ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU ALSO AGREE THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS THE
COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND CANON
CONCERNING THE SUBJECT MATTER HEREOF AND SUPERSEDES ALL PROPOSALS OR
PRIOR AGREEMENTS, VERBAL OR WRITTEN, AND ANY OTHER COMMUNICATIONS
BETWEEN YOU AND CANON RELATING TO THE SUBJECT MATTER HEREOF.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
