You can minimize the color variance of print images by creating the ICC profile for your environment and applying it to the image. In the Pro9500 Mark II series, you can perform the printer calibration that minimizes the difference in the color reproducibility between different printers, environments, or times for a user who needs the much higher color precision. < Installation Components > The following components make up the installation package: - Installer (setup.exe) Installs Color Management Tool Pro on your computer. - Color Management Tool Pro Software for creating a printer-use ICC profile that matches your printer environment. The printer calibration function also realizes stable color reproduction in printed material. - Uninstaller Removes Color Management Tool Pro from your computer. - Precautions on Using Color Management Tool Pro (Startup_Guide.pdf) This guide describes the operating environment of Color Management Tool Pro and procedures for installing and uninstalling the software. - Art Paper Printing Guide (TOP.htm in the Manual folder) This guide describes how to install downloaded ICC profiles and how to set up application software and printer drivers. - Readme (Readme.txt) This document. It contains important information about Color Management Tool Pro. < Printers Compatible with This Product > The following printers are compatible with this product: ICC profile creation: Pro9500 Mark II series, Pro9000 Mark II series, Pro9500 series, Pro9000 Calibration function: Pro9500 Mark II series < Measuring Instrument Compatible with This Product > The following measuring instrument is compatible with this product: X-Rite Eye-One Series with Eye-One Pro Spectrophotometer included Note: - Before you use this product, you must install the application software that comes with the measuring instrument. - The calibration base plate, chart measuring ruler, and measurement backup board are also required as well as the measuring instrument. ==================================================================== Troubleshooting ==================================================================== This section describes troubleshooting procedures for problems that may occur while you use Color Management Tool Pro. - A chart cannot be measured correctly when Color Management Tool Pro is used. Cause: The problem is in the measuring instrument. Action: Using the application software that comes with the measuring instrument, create an ICC file for the printer, and check the operation of the measuring instrument. Alternatively, use the bundled diagnostic software (Eye-One Diagnostics) and try diagnosing the measuring instrument problem. If failure occurs when you try to create an ICC profile for your printer or if a problem is indicated in the diagnosis results, contact the measuring instrument manufacturer. - An ICC profile cannot be created for the monitor or scanner, etc. Cause: Color Management Tool Pro does not support the monitor or scanner, etc. Action: Create the desired ICC profile by using the application software that comes with the measuring instrument. For details, see the user's manual for the measuring instrument. - The measuring instrument is not recognized, and measurements cannot be made. Cause: The USB cable of the measuring instrument is not connected properly. Action: Check that the USB cable is properly connected to the computer. If the measuring instrument is not recognized even when the USB cable is properly connected, contact the manufacturer of the measuring instrument. - Color Management Tool Pro cannot be started. Cause: The printer driver for the supported model is not installed. Action: Install the driver of the printer being used. Also check whether this product supports the printer. - The printer does not print properly. Cause: The problem may be in the printer. Action: For details, see the user's manual that comes with the printer. - After calibration, the intended print results were not realized. Cause: The paper settings used in printing may be different from those used in measurement. Action: During measurement, set the same paper settings that you used during chart printing. ==================================================================== Restrictions on Use of Color Management Tool Pro ==================================================================== The following restrictions are placed on the use of this product. Pay attention to these restrictions before use. - During measurement, do not forcefully push the measuring instrument onto the ruler. The chart may become scratched. - The ICC profile may not be created correctly if color paper is used. - Execute the calibration function with the specified media type. - The printer calibration function is not supported in Windows 2000. - The printer calibration function does not support the network connection. ==================================================================== Disclaimer ==================================================================== We shall not guarantee the printing result generated with the ICC profile which is created with this software and the printing result after the printer calibration.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
