When the S-YXG50 is installed the following commands will be added to the "system.ini" file. [386Enh] section device =vswp.vxd [Driver] section midixx =sxgb.drv wavexx =sxgb.drv mixerxx=sxgb.drv ("xx" is the number appended to the WAVE and MIDI drivers prior to installation) <Uninstall procedure> ********* Remarks!!! ********************************************** Please run the uninstall program to remove the folder completely. Do not remove the S-YXG50 folder. ******************************************************************** Use the following procedure if you wish to delete the S-YXG50 from your hard disk. 1. Click the [Start] button, and go to [Programs (P)] >> [Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG50] and select [uninstall S-YXG50]. 2. After the program starts, follow the directions given on-screen. 3. When your computer is re-started, S-YXG50 and its related files will be deleted from your hard disk, and you will be able to install new drivers. When the Uninstall Program does not work , delete the files shown below. --> Delete or alter the specified files on the hard disk as described below: 1. Quit Windows and go to the MS-DOS mode. 2. Go to the C:\windows\system directory. 3. Delete the following files: mmxswp00.dll mmx32x00.dll vswp.vxd sxg2wave.tbl sxgb.drv sxgbcpl.cpl sxgbsys.dll sxgwave2.tbl sxg05mx1.dll sxg05mx3.dll 4. Edit the contents of the System.ini file. 5. Delete the "device=vswp.vxd" line in the [386Enh] section. 6. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
