Thank you for using Canon IJ Network Driver.
This product is the LAN driver for Canon IJ Network.
With this set up, you can print from the Canon IJ Network 
printer that is connected through a network.

< Setup Components >

The following components make up the setup package:

  - Setup Program (SETUP.EXE)
    Installs and sets up the Canon IJ Network Driver.

  - Canon IJ Network Driver (referred to as the "LAN driver"
    in this document)
    This is the software that allows you to print to
    the Canon IJ printer that is connected to a LAN.

  - Uninstaller
    Lets you remove the LAN driver from your computer.

  - Readme (readme.txt)
    This document. It contains important information about
    the LAN driver.

Using the LAN Driver

The following restrictions are placed on the use of this 
product. Pay attention to these restrictions before use.

  - Do not start this setup procedure during printing.

  - Do not print while this setup is in progress.

  - To connect another Canon IJ printer of the same model
    to the network, you must first install the printer
    driver or the MP driver again, and then set up the
    LAN driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
