ICCプロファイルのインストールについて


1. 概要

 お使いのプリンタで使用できる用紙種類に対応したICCプロファイルをインストールします。
 プリンタドライバや汎用アプリケーションで、お使いの用紙種類や印刷品質に合わせて
 ICCプロファイルを利用したいときに便利です。

 注意：
 - 一部のICCプロファイルは、ドライバインストール時およびMedia Configuration Tool
   インストール時に自動的にインストールされます。
 - 全ての用紙種類に対応しているわけではありません。
 - ICC プロファイルをインストールするには、管理者権限でログインする必要があります。

2. ICC プロファイルのインストール方法

 Windows の場合
 インストーラで[インストール]ボタンをクリックすると、コンピュータのデスクトップに
 [iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダが作成されます。

 [iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダには以下のファイルが入っています。
 - ICCプロファイル（.ICC）
 - ICCプロファイルと用紙種類の対応表 (ICCprofile_Japanese.pdf)
 - Readme_Japanese.txt (このファイル)

 ICC プロファイルを右クリックし、［プロファイルのインストール］を選択してください。

 - Microsoft Windows Server 2003/Microsoft Windows XP/ Microsoft Windows 2000 をご使用の場合
   ［プロファイルの削除］または［プロファイルのアンインストール］と表示された場合は操作を中止し、
   対象のICC プロファイルを以下のフォルダに上書きコピーしてください。
   • 「Windows システムフォルダ/System32/spool/drivers/color/」

 - Microsoft Windows 7/ Microsoft Windows Server 2008/ Microsoft Windows Vista をご使用の場合
   ［プロファイルのインストール］を選択した後に、対象のICC プロファイルを以下の
   フォルダに上書きコピーしてください。
   • 「Windows システムフォルダ/System32/spool/drivers/color/」

 Macintosh の場合
 インストーラで[ICCプロファイル]のチェックボックスをオンにして実行すると、コンピュータの
 デスクトップに[iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダが作成されます。

 [iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダには以下のファイルが入っています。
 - ICCプロファイル（.ICC）
 - ICCプロファイルと用紙種類の対応表 (ICCprofile_Japanese.pdf)
 - Readme_Japanese.txt (このファイル)
 
 ICC プロファイルを以下のフォルダにコピーしてください。
   • 「/ライブラリ/ColorSync/Profiles/」

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
