2. 操作环境 -------------------------------------------------------------------

运行本程序所需的系统和操作环境如下。


  软件：Microsoft Windows 7 64位版，中文版
        Microsoft Windows Server 2008 64位版，中文版
        Microsoft Windows Vista 64位版，中文版
        Microsoft Windows Server 2003 64位版，中文版
        Microsoft Windows XP Professional 64位版，中文版

  硬件:   任何运行上面所列软件的计算机。

  兼容的打印机:   本程序用于下列打印机。

              Canon Large Format Printer W8400（染料墨水种类）
              Canon Large Format Printer W8400（颜料墨水种类）
              Canon Large Format Printer W6400（染料墨水种类）
              Canon Large Format Printer W6400（颜料墨水种类）
              Canon imagePROGRAF系列
              (有些打印机型号限于某些国家和地区使用。)

 接口连通性:
  本程序执行时打印机和计算机必须用下面的一种方法进行连接。

  - 通过TCP/IP网络连接并能通过网络打印。
  - 通过USB或IEEE 1394端口电缆连接并能作为本地打印机打印。

 注: 如果您使用IEEE1394，则需要IEEE1394 Class驱动程序。

3. 版本更新方法 ---------------------------------------------------------------

(1) 打开打印机的电源。
(2) 下载完文件后，在计算机硬盘上解压缩。
(3) 运行setup文件。imagePROGRAF Firmware Update Tool安装完成。
(4) 在开始菜单中选择程序执行imagePROGRAF Firmware Update Tool。

4. 使用注意事项 ---------------------------------------------------------------

使用本程序有下列限制。
在使用本程序前, 务必明白这些限制。

* 为了安装打印机驱动程序，必须以[网络管理员]身份登录Windows。

* 在启动固件版本更新程序前, 请先关闭任何其他正在运行的应用程序。

* 在固件版本更新程序正在运行时请勿尝试使用打印机。
   如果在执行版本更新程序前正在执行某项打印作业, 请取消该打印作业或等待作业结束。

* 固件版本更新程序正在运行时切勿关闭目标打印机的电源。

* 如果写入闪存时固件版本更新失败, 您可能不能启动打印机。在这种情况下,
   请与佳能服务中心或购买打印机处的经销商联系。

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

• Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

• If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

• Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

• Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

• Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

• From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

• Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
