1. はじめに ---------------------------------------------------------------------

imagePROGRAF Status Monitorは、プリンタ状態の確認や、印刷ジョブの管理などを行うことのできる
ユーティリティソフトです。
プリンタを一覧表示する「プリンタリスト」と、個別のプリンタの詳細を表示する「ステータスモニタ」の
二つの画面で構成されます。

imagePROGRAF Device Agent Managerは、プリンタ本体のインクの種類と、プリンタドライバの
インクの情報を自動で同期するソフトウェアです。
imagePROGRAF Device Agent Managerを停止する方法は、Windowsのスタートメニューの
プログラム→imagePROGRAF Status Monitorから、imagePROGRAF Device Agent Managerを
起動してヘルプを参照してください。

3. インストール時の注意---------------------------------------------------------

* インストールおよびアンインストールの方法は、取扱説明書をご覧ください。

* インストールまたはアンインストールを行う前には、すべてのアプリケーションソフトを
   終了してください。
   なお、imagePROGRAF Status Monitorが起動している場合は、インストールまたは
   アンインストールを行うことはできません。

* アンインストール後にインストールディレクトリが残る場合があります。
  インストール先フォルダにimagePROGRAF Status Monitorが管理しないファイルが
  含まれている場合、そのファイルおよびフォルダは削除されません。

* インストールする前にAdministrator権限でWindowsにログオンする必要があります。


4. 使用上の注意 ---------------------------------------------------------------

本ソフトウェアの使用に際しては、以下のような制限事項があります。
ご使用にあたってはあらかじめこれらの点にご注意ください。

* imagePROGRAF Status Monitor、imagePROGRAF Device Agent Managerを使用するためには、
 Windowsのファイアウォール機能で対象のソフトウェアに対するブロックを解除する必要があります。
 Windowsのファイアウォール機能については、Windowsのヘルプおよびマニュアルを参照してください。

* ターミナルサーバ使用時、同一のユーザ名で複数ログインし、imagePROGRAF Status Monitor
  を使用する場合に、正常に動作しないことがあります。

* 一つのローカルポート接続プリンタに対して、同時に複数のステータスモニタを開くことはできません。

* ローカルポートに接続されたN2000/N1000/N2100/N1100/W2200/BIJ2300/BIJ1300/BIJ2350/BIJ1350/BIJ1350Dについては、
  imagePROGRAF StatusMonitorによるステータス情報取得中は、
  ドライバプロパティからのデバイス情報取得はエラーとなります。
  また、ドライバプロパティからデバイス情報取得中は、imagePROGRAF Status Monitorからの
  ステータス情報取得はエラーとなります。

* あるローカルポート接続プリンタに対してNetSpot Job Monitorを起動している場合、
  同じローカルポート接続プリンタに対してimagePROGRAF Status Monitorからの
  ステータス情報取得および印刷を行うことは出来ません。
  この場合は、NetSpot Job Monitorを終了させてください。

* NetSpot Accountant Client Module Ver.3.1以下のバージョンを標準インストールした場合、
  あるいは、NetSpot Suite Serviceが起動している場合、NetSpot AccountantClient Modul
  動作環境で、ローカルポート接続プリンタに対してimagePROGRAF Status Monitorからの
  ステータス情報取得および印刷を行うことは出来ません。

* 共有プリンタに対して、ステータスモニタを開くことはできません。

* ネットワークを介して接続されたプリンタに対して同時に複数のステータスモニタを開いた場合、
  その間プリンタの状態が変化しても、全てのステータスモニタに同時に反映されない場合があります。

* ステータスプリントあるいはノズルチェックプリントを実行した場合、N2000/N1000/N2100/N1100/W2200/BIJ2300/BIJ1300/BIJ2350/BIJ1350/BIJ1350Dは、
 実行後オフラインとなります。

* プリンタリストの「TCP/IP」または「NetWare」表示モードから検索したプリンタに対しては、
  ステータスモニタで印刷ジョブキャンセルを行う場合、プリンタ内の印刷ジョブ のみを削除します。
  PC内の印刷ジョブはそのまま残りますので、他の手段を用いて削除 してください。

* プリンタ内印刷ジョブのジョブサイズは表示されません。

* プリンタの電源が入っていないIPP接続プリンタに対してステータス取得を行なった場合、
  imagePROGRAF Status Monitor の動作が一時的に止まることがあります。

* IPv6を使用して接続しているプリンタに対して、ステータスモニタを開くためには、
  対応するプリンタドライバをインストールする必要があります。

*NetWare環境でお使いの場合は、以下の注意事項があります。

(1) imagePROGRAF Status Monitorを使用するPCには、Novell純正のクライアントモジュールが
    インストールされている必要があります。

(2) NDPS接続は非サポートです。

(3) ひとつのプリントキューに複数のプリントサーバやプリンタオブジェクトが関連付けられている場合については、
    imagePROGRAF Status Monitorではサポート対象外になります。

(4) NetWare環境の場合、ステータスモニタから印刷ジョブの一時停止、再開、削除が一時的に行えない状態があります。

(5) NetWare環境の場合、ステータスモニタから印刷ジョブの一時停止、再開、削除が行えない場合があります。

(6) NetWare環境の場合、アカウンティング機能は動作しません。TCP/IPまたはUSB接続から起動してください。

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
