1.引言-------------------------------------------------------------------------

imagePROGRAF Status Monitor是监控打印机状态和管理打印作业的软件公用程序。imagePROGRAF Status 
Monitor包含两个画面：“Printer List”列出了所有的打印机，“Status Monitor”则显示
每一台打印机的具体详细资料。

imagePROGRAF Device Agent Manager自动同步打印机内的墨盒类型和打印机驱动程序的墨盒信息。
关于停止imagePROGRAF Device Agent Manager的更多信息，请在Windows开始按钮中选择程序，
打开imagePROGRAF Status Monitor中的Device Agent Manager，然后查阅帮助文件。

3.安装时的注意事项-------------------------------------------------------------

*有关安装和卸载步骤的更多详情，请参阅打印机手册。

*在安装或卸载之前，请务必关闭所有的软件应用程序。
 imagePROGRAF Status Monitor正在运行时，不能进行安装或卸载。

*卸载后，安装目录仍可能存在。
 如果不由imagePROGRAF Status Monitor管理的安装目标文件夹内存在文件，这些文件和文件夹不会
 被删除。

*为了安装打印机驱动程序，必须以网络管理员身份登录Windows。


4. 注意事项、局限性和限制-------------------------------------------------------

使用该软件时请注意下面的局限性。

*要使用imagePROGRAF Status Monitor或imagePROGRAF Device Agent Manager，必须解除Windows防火墙
 功能中对相关软件的限制。有关Windows防火墙功能的详情，请参阅Windows帮助文件或
 Windows手册。

*当多个用户以相同的用户名登录时，可能无法在终端服务器上正确运行imagePROGRAF Status 
 Monitor。

*对于通过本地连接端口连接的打印机，不能打开一个以上的Status Monitor。

*当使用通过本地连接端口连接的
 N2000/N1000/N2100/N1100/W2200/BIJ2300/BIJ1300/BIJ2350/BIJ1350/BIJ1350D 打印机时，
 如果想在imagePROGRAF Status Monitor获取打印机状态信息时用驱动程序属性功能获取设备信息，
 则会发生错误。如果imagePROGRAF Status Monitor试图在驱动程序属性功能获取设备信息时获取
 打印机状态信息，则会发生错误。

*对于通过本地连接端口连接的打印机，当NetSpot Job Monitor正在运行时，对通过本地
 连接端口连接的同一打印机，imagePROGRAF Status Monitor即不能进行打印，也不能获取打印机状
 态信息。如果发生这种情况，请关闭NetSpot Job Monitor。

*对于通过本地连接端口连接的打印机，当NetSpot Job Monitor正在运行时，对通过本地
 连接端口连接的同一打印机，imagePROGRAF Status Monitor即不能进行打印，也不能获取打印机状
 态信息。如果发生这种情况，请关闭NetSpot Job Monitor。

*在NetSpot Accountant Client Module3.1或更低版本环境下，如果NetSpot Accountant 
 Client Module是标准安装，或NetSpot Suite Service正在运行时，对于通过本地连接端口
 连接的打印机，imagePROGRAF Status Monitor即不能进行打印，也不能获取打印机状态信息。

*共享打印机不能打开Status Monitor。

*对于通过网络连接的打印机，如果打开一个以上的Status Monitor，则即使打印机的状态
 发生变化，这一变化也可能不会同时反映在打开的所有Status Monitor中。

*进行状态打印或喷嘴检查打印时，打印结束后，N2000/N1000/N2100/N1100/W2200/BIJ2300/BIJ1300/BIJ2350/BIJ1350/BIJ1350D
 打印机会脱机。

*当从Printer List中的“TCP/IP”或“NetWare”模式显示中检测到打印机的Status Monitor
 时，如果取消打印作业，则只有该打印机内的打印作业被删除。打印作业仍可能留在计算机
 中，因此需要手工删除这一数据。

*不显示打印机内打印作业的大小。

*如果试图获取电源关闭的IPP连接打印机的状态，imagePROGRAF Status Monitor可能会暂时停止
 工作。

*对于使用IPv6连接的打印机，若要打开Status Monitor，则必须安装对应的打印机驱动程序。

*如果在NetWare环境下使用打印机，请注意以下各点：

（1）要在计算机上使用imagePROGRAF Status Monitor必须安装正版的Novell客户软件。

（2）不支持NDPS连接。

（3）imagePROGRAF Status Monitor不支持一台以上的打印服务器或与一个打印队列有关的打印对象。

（4）在NetWare环境下，暂时还不能在Status Monitor上使用打印作业的暂停、继续或
     删除功能。

（5）在 NetWare 环境下，您可能无法从 Status Monitor 暂停、继续或删除打印作业。

（6）在NetWare环境下计算功能无效。
     请通过TCP/IP或USB连接启动该功能。

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
