Overview  

This document describes the steps necessary to install the Windows Vista chipset driver for the computer models listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section below.


Identification  

If you have a computer listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section and are running Windows Vista, install this driver.


Installation

After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (D20016-002-002.exe), files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\D20016-002-002 folder on the hard drive.

1.  From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\Cabs\D20016-002-002\Setup.exe, and then press  
ENTER.

2.  In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow.

3.  Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation.


Removal

This driver provides proper functionality of multiple system devices; therefore removal instructions for this driver and related files are not provided. 


Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, reinstall the drivers.  


Reason for Update

This is the initial release of the Windows Vista driver.
