Installation After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file VIWLAN, files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\VIWLAN folder on the hard drive. 1. From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\Cabs\VIWLAN\DPInst32.exe, and then press ENTER. 2. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow/Continue. 3. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Removal 1. On the desktop, click the Windows icon. 2. Right-click Computer, and then click Manage. 3. In the left pane, click Device Manager. 4. In Device Manager, click the plus sign (+) in front of Network Adapters. 5. Right-click Intel PRO/Wireless xxx Network Connection, and then click Uninstall. 6. In the Confirm Device Uninstall dialog box, click to check Delete the driver software for this device, and then click OK. 7. The network adapter uninstalls and Windows automatically reinstalls the Windows built-in driver, version 10.6.0.15. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
