Update Sequence:
BIOS => BMC => SDR => FRU
You need to unplug AC to reset the system after you updating BMC, SDR and FRU.
Procedures to update BIOS P22:
1. Unzip G540P22.zip to a DOS bootable USB Flash drive.
2. Power system on and boot to USB Flash Drive.
3. Run "F.BAT" to start
4. Once the update completes, reboot the system.
5. Enter Setup by pressing the F2 key during boot up. Once in Setup,
press the F9 to set the parameters back to default values. Press
F10 to save and exit.
Procedures to update BMC 1.50:
1. Unzip G540_BMC150.zip to a DOS bootable USB Flash drive.
2. Power system on and boot to USB Flash Drive.
3. Run "BMCUPD.BAT" to start.
4. Follow the instruction on scrren until update is done.
5. Unplug AC, wait for all LED off
6. Plug in AC in order to reset BMC.
Procedures to update SDR 1.50:
1. Unzip G540_SDR150.zip to a DOS bootable USB Flash drive.
2. Power system on and boot to USB Flash Drive.
3. Run "SDRUPD.BAT" to start.
Procedures to update FRU 1.00:
1. Unzip G540_FRU100.zip to a DOS bootable USB Flash drive.
2. Power system on and boot to USB Flash Drive.
3. Run "FRUUPD.BAT" to start.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
