Identification If you have a Gateway 610 computer and are running Windows XP Media Center, install these drivers. Installation After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (9524883.exe), files are self-extracted and copied into the C:\Cabs\9524883 folder on the hard drive. 1. From the Start menu, click Run. 2. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\9524883\HIDFPIns.exe. 3. Files are installed. 4. In the System Settings Changed dialog box, click Yes to restart. Removal There are no removal steps for this update. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the software installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the software. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
