Identification If you have a Solo 5350 portable computer and are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, install these display drivers. Installation 1. In the C:\cabs\7511211 folder, double-click Setup.exe. 2. In the Welcome to InstallShield Wizard dialog box, click Next. 3. In the License Agreement dialog box, click Yes. 4. Installation continues automatically through multiple dialog boxes. The screen may flicker during this portion of the installation. 5. In the InstallShield Wizard Complete dialog box, click Finish. 6. When prompted to restart the computer, click Yes. Removal Windows 2000 1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 3. In the Add/Remove Programs dialog box, select Intel(R) 830M Graphics Controller Display Driver, and then click Add/Remove. 4. In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK. 5. Close Control Panel. Windows XP 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. In Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance. 2. In the Performance and Maintenance window, click the System icon. 3. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 4. In Device Manager, click the plus sign (+) next to Display Drivers, and then double-click Intel(R) 830M Graphics Controller. 5. In the S3 Graphics Inc. Twister Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. 6. Close Device Manager. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers. Applicable Part Numbers The part numbers for the Solo 5350 are 3501084 and 3501290. The part number for the driver file is 7511211.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
