Overview

This document describes the steps necessary to install and configure the modem drivers for the Solo 5350 in Windows 2000 or Windows XP.


Identification

If you have a Solo 5350 and are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, install these modem drivers.


This is the installation procedure for the Modem part of the drivers.

1.  Download the file, part number 7511215, to your hard drive, and then extract the files.  The files extract to C:\cabs\7511215.

2.  On your hard drive, in the C:\cabs\7511215 folder, double-click HXFSetup.exe.

3.  New hardware is found, and the installation continues.

4.  Setup completes automatically and the modem is installed.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
