Identification If you have a Solo 1400 with Windows XP, install these drivers. Installation 1. Go to the folder on your hard drive where you downloaded the driver file and double-click it. This extracts the files to your hard drive. 2. Go to the folder where the driver files were extracted and double-click Setup.exe to begin the installation. The default location is C:\cabs\7512105. 3. In the Setup Complete dialog box, click Finish to restart your computer. 4. After the computer restarts, from the Start menu, click Control Panel. In Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display. 5. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab. 6. On the Settings tab, verify that the Screen Resolution is set to 1,024 x 768 pixels, and the Color Quality is set to 32 bit. Click OK to apply the settings. 7. If a Monitor Settings dialog box opens, click Yes to keep the new settings. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes. 3. In Appearance and Themes, click the Display icon. 4. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced. 5. In the Advanced dialog box, click the Adapter tab, and then click Properties. 6. In the Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. 7. Restart the computer. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
