Mike, This zip file contains the files needed to use Hi-Res drivers on the VGA card. Here is what you need to do: 1. Make sure you unzipped this file with the -D option (pkunzip -D xxx.zip) so that it will create sub-directories, onto a blank floppy disk. 2. In DOS, insert the VGA card, so that the Handbook output is on the external monitor. 3. Run a:542XVGA.EXE 4. Run Windows 5. Run a:install 6. Run the SetRES program from the VGA Utilities Group to change resolutions. NOTE: After you have run 542XVGA.EXE, you have lost all hot swapability of the card. After you have used a High resolution and you want to run Windows on the planar controller, run the SETUP program in the WINDOWS subdirectory from DOS and select VGA for the Video driver.
