Overview

This is the software and driver for the Gateway DMP-110, DMP-210, and DMP-310 digital music players. The file contains the manual in Adobe Acrobat Reader format, and contains a link to download and install the Adobe software if it is not currently installed. The file also contains the update utility, which is a program to format the music player or to update the player's firmware. Finally, the file also contains the driver necessary to allow the device to work in Windows 98 SE.

Identification

On the back of the digital music player there is a label with the serial number and model number. The label lists the model number as DMP-110, DMP-210 or DMP-310.

The driver is only necessary to install if you have Windows 98 SE. If you are using Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Me, Windows automatically recognizes the player as a removable drive in the My Computer and Windows Explorer windows. There is no need to install a driver.
