Overview  

This is the Windows Vista (64-bit) SI ESATA Driver driver for the computers listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section of this document. 



Installation 

After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file D20317-001-001, files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\D20317-001-001 folder on the hard drive.

1.  From the Start menu, type C:\Cabs\D20317-001-001\Preinstall.cmd into the Start Search Field and press ENTER. 

2.  In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow/Continue.

3.  Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation.


Removal 

There are no removal instructions as the driver is required for system operation.


Reason for Update

This is the initial release of the driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
