Identification If you have a Gateway notebook computer listed below and are running Windows XP or Windows 2000, install this driver. Installation After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (9523258.exe), files are self-extracted and copied into the C:\Cabs\9523258 folder on the hard drive. Note: If installing in Windows 2000, Direct X 9.0a must be installed prior to installing the Intel Chipset drivers. 1. From the Start menu, click Run. 2. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\9523258\Setup.exe. Click OK. 3. In the Welcome dialog box, click Next. 4. In the License Agreement dialog box, click Next. 5. In the Readme Information dialog box, click Next. 6. Files copy. 7. Click Finish to restart the computer. Removal These drivers are necessary for correct functionality of the computer and should not be removed. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then reinstall the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
