Installation After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file D20122-002-001, files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\D20122-002-001 folder on the hard drive. Windows Vista 1. From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\Cabs\D20122-002-001\Setup.exe, and then press ENTER. 2. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow/Continue. 3. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Removal Windows Vista 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Uninstall a Program. 3. In the Programs and Features window, select Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader, and then click Uninstall/Change. 4. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue. 5. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the removal. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, download the file again, and then perform the installation steps for a second time. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
