Installation 1. Right-click My Computer, and then select Manage. 2. Select Device Manager, and then expand the SCSI and RAID Controllers category. 3. Right-click the LSI HBA and select Update Driver. Note: Depending on the currently loaded driver, the device description may vary. 4. If SP1 or greater is installed, you are prompted to search Windows Update for a newer driver. Select No, not at this time, and then click Next. 5. Select Install from a list or specific Location (Advanced), and then click Next. 6. Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install, and then select Next. 7. Select Have Disk, and then browse to the driver location. 8. Select LSI Adapter, Ultra320 SCSI 2000 series, w/1020/1030 -ScsiPort, and then click Next. Troubleshooting If you have trouble upgrading the driver, try the process again following the steps listed in the Installation section of this document. If you are still unable to upgrade the driver, verify that you have a LSI 2x320-R SCSI HBA installed or integrated LSI 1020/1030 SCSI chipset. If this process still fails, contact technical support. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
