Identification If you have a Gateway 200STM, install these drivers. Installation 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance. 3. In Performance and Maintenance, click the System icon. 4. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 5. In Device Manager, double-click Network Adapters, and then double-click 3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-TX Compatible). 6. In the 3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-TX Compatible) Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver. 7. In the Hardware Update Wizard dialog box, select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next. 8. In the next dialog box, perform the following steps: a. Select Search for the best driver in these locations. b. Select the Include this location in the search check box. c. In the text box, type the location where the driver files were extracted. The default location is C:\CABS\7512228. d. Click Next. 9. In the next window, click Finish. 10. In the 3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-TX Compatible) Properties dialog box, click Close. 11. Close Device Manager. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. Troubleshooting If you have problems with your network card, try reinstalling it again by following the installation procedure in this document. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
