Installation 1. Start Windows Setup from the Windows CD. 2. Press the F6 key when the screen displays: "Press F6 if you need..." 3. Press the S key to specify an additional device when the screen displays: "Setup could not determine the type of one or more mass storage devices..." 4. From the list of drivers, select "Intel(R) 82801GR/GH SATA RAID Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH)". Press ENTER. 5. Press ENTER, and then continue with the normal installation procedure. Removal 1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. With Control Panel in Category View, double-click Performance and Maintenance 3. In the Performance and Maintenance window, click System. 4. In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 5. In Device Manager, click the plus sign (+) in front of the type of device you want to remove the drivers for, and then double-click the specific device to open the Properties dialog box. 6. In the Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. 7. In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, download the file again, and then perform the installation steps for a second time. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
